Rainbow Brite Is Back

As a kid I remember my absolute favorite doll was rainbow brite and her horse starlight. I loved her! 25 years later Rainbow Brite is back! Rainbow, Moonglow, Tickled, Starlite, Shimmer, and Sunriser dolls are all available at Target and soon to be Toys 'R Us. There is an interactive website full of free interactive games, coloring pages and more! My 4 yr. old daughter absolutely loves the website. It keeps her occupied while I am doing dishes and makes her work better with the computer as well. The website is very entertaining and will bring back many memories to all you Moms out there.

Cafepress: New Ornament Designing Tool - A MUST TRY!!

This holiday season Cafepress introduced a new ornament designer tool on their website at www.cafepress.com. I had the privilege to design two ornaments using this tool. First off, I want to say that I have used many photo personalizing product software for different products I have purchased from other sites, and I believe that Cafepress has the most user friendly tool! First, you select an ornament theme, in which you have many to choose from in oval or round styles. There are a variety of templates to choose from including baby's first Christmas, Hanukkah, Twilight/New Moon and more. Next, you upload your picture! This process was so easy, as it accepts larger photos - you don't have to go shrink the photo on your computer before uploading it to the site! Then once the photo is uploaded, you can move your photo around and shrink or enlarge it to fit the ornament just right!Your all done - simple as that. You have a beautiful porcelain ornament, in the shopping cart and ready to order. I created two very neat keepsake ornaments for my children. These would make great Christmas Gifts for people of any age. I think it would be neat to start a tradition and make the ornaments every year for my children and they would be able to look back at the photos from years past!
